Reductie van geluid bij productie van beton
Mönninghoff is een producent van voorgefrabriceerde betonelementen voor met name telecommunicatie verbindingen. Het bedrijf verving stalen mallen die veel lawaai maakten door geluids armere plastic mallen. De eerste aanzet voor dit idee werd door twee medewerkers tijdens een middagpauze gegeven. Hiermee werd uiteindelijk de hoogte van het geluid gereduceerd van 112 naar 86 dB(A) (een vermindering met een factor zes). De kunsstof mallen zijn goedkoper, duurzamer en bovendien gemakkelijker te hanteren door de medewerkers.
