Employers' Labour Survey: a new labour survey among employers 13.08.2009
The Employers’ Labour Survey (WEA) took place at the end of 2008 / beginning of 2009 and comprised a questionnaire distributed to employers in 5,000 companies and institutions. The questions address the topics of working conditions and social security, labour relations and employment conditions, company policy, personnel and general characteristics of the organisation, operating result and the sickness absence rate. The goal of the WEA is to monitor developments in these areas every two years.
With regard to working conditions, the questions touch on the employer’s familiarity with legislation and regulation and compliance with such, but also what companies do in terms of policy and measures, the role of sector organisations and the manner in which companies cooperate with occupational health and safety service providers.
The WEA is an initiative of TNO and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. In the course of 2009 a brochure will be published with the most important outcomes of the survey. These outcomes will be presented for 12 sectors and for different size categories of organisation.
