Mr. Frijters from Health and Safety
with the Good Practice Award
A software system that provides support for the making of a Health and Safety Plan for the design and execution phase of a construction project. The Arbouw Foundation has developed the Arbouw V&G Planner. This is a tool that can be used to develop a project-specific V&G Plan based on a construction-specific database. The database is based on construction tasks. The risks and the control measures are included for each construction task. The control measures relate to the design, preparation and execution phase. The program was tested in practice for 3 months by 10 companies. Most companies were satisfied with the operation of the program, the content of the database and the form and content of the V&G Plans they made. Based on the user test a number of changes have been made so that the program fulfils the requirements of the companies even better.
