  The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs has produced a glossary to explain all of the key terms in the field of old age pensions.
• "Demographischer Wandel in der Arbeitswelt – Chancen für eine innovative Arbeitsgestaltung" (Demographic change in the world of work – Opportunities for innovative work organisation)
  This brochure summarises the opportunities and problems which demographic change presents for the world of work. It contains the main findings of a transfer project sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and provides an outline of this complex topic.
• Retirement age raised from 65 to 67
  At the suggestion of Franz Müntefering, Federal Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, Germany's Federal Cabinet defined goals and key parameters regarding a gradual increase in the full-pension retirement age at its meeting on 1 February.
• Designing workplaces for mature workers and workers with altered abilities
  Following an analysis of the actual physiological changes which occur as workers grow older, the researchers identified the specific hazards which tend to affect mature workers more. An example workplace at the BGAG (BG Institute Work and Health) provides a hands-on illustration of the findings.
