How are the network's tasks divided up?

The Focal Point serves as an interface between the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, Bilbao, and the German network.
The Main Points are responsible for the technical development of the information network and for providing input. They organise the information-exchange process between the establishments which they represent in the network:

• LASI, which is an alliance of the federal states, is represented by Brandenburg's "Landesinstitut für Arbeitsschutz (LAS)" in Potsdam.
• The German Statutory accident insurance "Deutsche Gesetzliche Unfallversicherung" (DGUV) is responsible for ensuring that all accident insurance institutions are involved in the network.
• The "Bundesanstalt für Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitsmedizin" (Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, BAuA) supplies information from the field of OSH research.
